Join Playa Vista Moms Group in bringing holiday magic to families in need.

This holiday season, Playa Vista Moms Group is coming together to support the families of the HomeLight Family Living Program at The Midnight Mission in a meaningful, lasting way. We are raising $1,500 to purchase a community refrigerator for the HomeLight campus in Inglewood — a shared resource that will give every family daily access to fresh, healthy food.

HomeLight is a unique program where 15 families live for approximately one year, receiving wraparound support including individual and family therapy, childcare, after-school programs, life-skills classes, professional development, career counseling, and more. And the program continus to support families after they transition into permanent housing until they are fully self-sufficient.

While SNAP benefits have been restored, many of our moms won’t receive their funds for another 30 days — and the food market continues to be unpredictable. A community refrigerator will provide much-needed stability during this period and beyond. Anything raised above our $1,500 goal will go directly toward stocking the fridge with nutritious staples on a continuous basis.

We hope you’ll join us by donating and sharing this campaign with friends and family. Your support will make an immediate difference in the lives of the families who call HomeLight home.
